February 11, 2010 Gabriella Hanson scored 13 points and Rebecca Lavold made three 3-pointers and finished with 12 points to help No. 3 Troy finish undefeated in the Freeway League with a 58-23 victory over Buena Park on Thursday night at Troy High. St. Margaret's 54, Sage Hill 37: Kayla Moritzky had 22 points, 11 assists and eight steals and Claire Hosinski had 22 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks for the league-champion Tartans (20-2, 10-0) in a victory over the host Lightning (10-10, 5-5). Villa Park 78, El Modena 31: Brianna Salvatore made four 3-pointers and finished with 15 points and Connie Ballestero also scored 15 points for the Spartans (20-6, 8-2) in a victory over the visiting Vanguards (10-15, 2-8). Villa Park took second place in league. Magnolia 61, Santa Ana Valley 13: Desiree Hunter scored 30 points and grabbed nine rebounds as the Sentinels (18-7, 10-0) finished undefeated in league by beating the visiting Falcons. Magnolia won their sixth consecutive league title with its 59th consecutive victory in league. El Toro 73, Trabuco Hills 37: Alyson Doherty scored 16 points, Chantal Bowman had 14 points and Hayley Morris had 13 points to help the Chargers (17-9, 5-5) clinch third place with a victory over the visiting Mustangs (4-21, 0-10). |

February 05, 2010 La Jolla Country Day 77, Villa Park 42: The Torreys (18-3) shot 47.6 percent from the field and had five players score in double figures. La Jolla Country Day held the Spartans (17-6) to 34 percent shooting. Brianna Salvatore led the Spartans with 11 points. |

OC Elite National was not the only team to have a great summer showing. OC Elite 2010 Select and OC Elite 2012 Select saw their share of Championship games and 3rd place victories. Both teams traveled to Indiana and to Las Vegas with the 2010 team finishing in San Diego.

OC Elite 2010 Select went to the Championship game in the Adidas EA Sports National Elite Showcase Open Division. They went 4-1 for the tournament losing to NW Blazers in the final. All players had a great tournament with Carolyn Overton, Nisma Ali and Allie Ivar standing out. |

OC Elite 2010 Select then went to San Diego to the MNSM Western Championships where they took 6th place out of 54 teams. OC Elite 2010 Select again went 4-1. All players again came to play, players of note were Jessica Johnson, Kathryn Finley, and Chanel Smith. |

OC Elite 2012 Select had their first taste of nationally ranked competition in Indiana and followed up with a great showing in the Adidas EA Sports National Elite Showcase playing for 3rd place. They went 3-2 overall. Players who stood out were Jennifer Tedori, Shelby Howard, Monay Lee, and Emily Feneck. We expect great things from this team in the next couple of years. |

The 2010 White and 2010 White South teams played their own NCAA summer schedule as well. 2010 White coached by Doug Shinoda played locally in the MTW LA Summer Showcase. Mike Hatcher’s 2010 White South team traveled to Oregon to play in the prestigious End of the Oregon Trail tournament. Both teams played hard and competed against some of the top teams in each tournament. |
