OC Elite National was not the only team to have a great summer showing. OC Elite 2010 Select and OC Elite 2012 Select saw their share of Championship games and 3rd place victories. Both teams traveled to Indiana and to Las Vegas with the 2010 team finishing in San Diego.

OC Elite 2010 Select went to the Championship game in the Adidas EA Sports National Elite Showcase Open Division. They went 4-1 for the tournament losing to NW Blazers in the final. All players had a great tournament with Carolyn Overton, Nisma Ali and Allie Ivar standing out.

OC Elite 2010 Select then went to San Diego to the MNSM Western Championships where they took 6th place out of 54 teams. OC Elite 2010 Select again went 4-1. All players again came to play, players of note were Jessica Johnson, Kathryn Finley, and Chanel Smith.

OC Elite 2012 Select had their first taste of nationally ranked competition in Indiana and followed up with a great showing in the Adidas EA Sports National Elite Showcase playing for 3rd place. They went 3-2 overall. Players who stood out were Jennifer Tedori, Shelby Howard, Monay Lee, and Emily Feneck. We expect great things from this team in the next couple of years.

The 2010 White and 2010 White South teams played their own NCAA summer schedule as well. 2010 White coached by Doug Shinoda played locally in the MTW LA Summer Showcase. Mike Hatcher’s 2010 White South team traveled to Oregon to play in the prestigious End of the Oregon Trail tournament. Both teams played hard and competed against some of the top teams in each tournament.
