No. 9 San Clemente 65, Magnolia 42: The Tritons started fast and never slowed down, routing Magnolia at home. San Clemente outscored Magnolia, 21-11, in the first quarter, and bettered the Sentinels in the second, third and fourth, as well.
Jacqui Marshall led all scorers with 18 points, while Lauren Pluimer (15), Cassie Harberts (13) and Casey Roy (11) also scored in double figures for the Tritons. Desiree Hunter led Magnolia with 16.

St. Margaret's 45, Capistrano Valley Christian 22:Claire Hosinski had 20 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks as the Tartans (16-4, 6-0) knocked off the visiting Eagles (3-14, 0-6) to remain undefeated in league.
Jenny Tedori also had a solid game for St. Margaret's, finishing with 15 points and Jessica Nipp led Capistrano Valley Christian with 15 points.

Irvine 58, Corona del Mar 52: Kristan Liddle recorded a triple-double with 15 points, 18 rebounds and 10 steals and Brittany Ballard added 17 points to lift the vaqueros (13-8, 3-3) over the visiting Sea Kings (17-7, 2-4), who got 19 points from Katie Bergsma.
No. 19 Magnolia 70, Century 42: Latrice Henderson scored 21 points, Kim Bueno knocked down five 3-pointers, Telisha Anderson had 12 points, nine assists and five steals and Desiree Hunter added 12 points as the Sentinels (13-7, 6-0) knocked off the host Centurions (13-9, 3-3) for their 45th consecutive league victory.
No. 24 El Toro 52, Trabuco Hills 29: Chantal Bowman led the way for the Chargers (12-10, 2-4) with eight points in a victory over the host Mustangs (3-17, 0-6).

No. 19 Magnolia 84, Western 15: Latrice Henderson had 20 points and 12 rebounds, Kim Bueno made six 3-pointers and had 18 points, Desiree Hunter scored 13 points and Telisha Anderson added 12 points, seven rebounds, six assists and six steals for the Sentinels (12-7, 5-0) in a victory over the visiting Pioneers (3-16, 1-4).

No. 19 Northwood 47, No. 22 El Toro 43: Amanda Deal made four 3-pointers and had 19 points, Bhavna Chadalavada scored 15 points and Melanie Kashanchi had six points and 13 rebounds as the Timberwolves (13-5, 1-1) pulled out the victory over the visiting Chargers (11-7, 1-1).
Chantal Bowman scored 17 points for El Toro.
Corona del Mar 42, Irvine 41:Sophomore Kayla Marolt, who scored 12 points, sank two free throws with six seconds remaining to give the Sea Kings (16-3, 1-1) a victory over the visiting Vaqueros (10-6, 1-1).
No. 18 Magnolia 59, Century 28:Latrice Henderson had 14 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks and Telisha Anderson had five points, 11 assists, five rebounds and five steals for the Sentinals (7-7, 1-0) in a victory over the visiting Centurions (9-7, 0-1).
St. Margaret's 50, Brethren Christian 45: Jenny Tedori had 18 points, six assists and six steals, Gaby Carpenter had 13 points, Claire Hosinski had eight points, 14 rebounds and seven blocks and Evelyn Morfin had five points and 13 boards to give the Tartans (13-3, 3-0) a victory over the host Warriors (5-8, 0-3).

Kayla Moritzky scored 17 points, including three 3-pointers, and Claire Hosinski had 15 points and 13 rebounds for the Tartans (12-3) in a loss to the visiting Dolphins (10-2).

The senior guard made five 3-pointers and had 24 points against San Ramon Valley and she made six 3-pointers and had 24 points Fountain Valley to lead the Royals to the semifinals of the Costa Mesa Winter Classic.
Kayla Moritzky had 23 points and six assists, Claire Hosinski had 14 points and 17 rebounds and Evelyn Morfin had four points and 11 rebounds as the Tartans (11-2, 1-0) defeated the visiting Wildcats (3-10, 0-1).
Kayla Marolt scored 22 points as the Sea Kings (15-2) beat the visiting Breakers (3-8), who got 20 points from Samantha Garner.
Ashley Fajardo scored a game-high 24 points and Kaitlyn Petersen scored 21 points for the Diablos (13-4) in a victory over the Panthers (9-7). |
