I can't say enough about Matt and OC Elite… As an ex-player and coach my concerns for my daughter playing travel ball was that she was not going to be coached and I didn't want her some where they just rolled the balls out and let them play. Not only was she coached well and learned the fundamentals that was missing from her game but she was also tested and pushed by the competition that they played against. They took the time out and she was able to get the individual time and attention that was needed to improve her game to where she is now being recruited by division 1 schools offering her a full scholarship.
Matt truly cares for his player's and that goes beyond the end of the season as he has been so helpful in helping not only my daughter but all of his kids in what ever they need. He wants all of his players to improve and become better basketball players. He also wants and helps them get into a college program that fits them. The exposure the girls get playing all across the nation, against some the best girsl in their age is great and the girls really created a bond and friendship that will last.

"Your daughter has 'pro moves' under the hoop" I hear at every game, to which I always respond, thanks to Coach Matt H. of OC Elite! Two years ago our daughter began playing again after missing 8 months, which included her freshman season, for medical reasons. Matt's technical and skills knowledge, love of the game, and player insight from years of playing at all levels himself, has elevated her game past any level she had played before. Her scoring has gone from 2-4 pts per game to an average of 14 points. She rarely misses a free-throw. He is willing to put in the time with her to make her a better player physically and mentally. If you want a TEAM atmosphere, there is none better. This club has the personnel so each team gets the coach's full attention, not just on game day. Our only wish is that we had found Coach Matt earlier! I can't imagine what her game would be if we had."

My daughter is Keiana Vines . She is a 6’4”, 230lb center at Pacifica High School in Oxnard . Keiana has been playing with OC Elite for a year now. After her freshman year in high school, we had numerous travel teams approach us wanting Keiana to join their program. We did our research before choosing and we chose OC Elite, even though it was going to be rough getting my daughter to practice due to the fact we live in Ventura County and practices are in Orange County. This was a huge commitment, but after a full year, my daughter and our family would not change it for the world, it was well worth it. My daughter has become a much better player and much stronger player. The coaches at OC Elite are very dedicated and amazing at what they do. Not only do they care about the players, they make sure that they have taught the girls every skill so when they go on the court they can get the job done. I feel with my daughter being in this program she will learn everything she needs to obtain a Division I scholarship when it is all said and done. If you are looking for a professional elite travel team for your child, look no further. I feel they are the best program out there.

I LOVE O.C. Elite, We are so pleased an happy with the experience with you and Marshall. The team Louise was a part of we thought was a great team, very good team players. Nice and engaged parents. Very good practice with Marshall . BUT of course the special training with you is the best she can have. We are looking forward to more of these after the holidays.
All the very best for the rest of this year and 2009

As
the mother of 3 females, I find it very challenging to keep a balance between allowing my children to make their own decisions and ensuring they are following the right course of action for their life. Sometimes I want to "volunteer" my experience to their situations. Such is especially the case with my youngest daughter, Desiree Hunter. Desiree's 2 older sisters are 17 and 18 years older than her, and so many of the things that Desiree is growing through I have seen before. However, she has a less demanding attitude about going after the things she wants. But she has a PASSION for basketball! Through her 8th grade year, Desiree never had the opportunity to play organized ball, except for 3 months with the Boys & Girls Club. Desiree was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington; and at the urging of her older sisters, I decided to move to Southern California so that she could attend high school and learn to play the game she loves. After much research, we decided on Magnolia High School ( Anaheim , CA ) with Coach Mike Anderson. So in the fall of 2006, Desiree started 9th grade and basketball training under the coaching of Mike Anderson. If you know anything about Mike, you could say that Desiree and Mike was the perfect match: Desiree's quiet reserved manner comes in direct contrast to Mike's (uh-h-h) "energy". Well, needless to say, Desiree began to improve drastically in her skills. During her Sophomore year at Magnolia, the Girls' Basketball team became CIF State finalist; and Desiree really saw what her true potential could be.
It was through the favor of God that Mike introduced us to Matt Houser and OC Elite. From the first conversation with Matt, I could tell that we were in very capable and professional hands. We discussed what I wanted to see accomplished with Desiree's participation in the program. My main concern was confidence on the court. I wanted Desiree to step on the court and know that she was in command. I also knew that she was behind in her basketball training and experiences than most players. After only a few practices I began to see a person who became more responsible and verbal. After games she started trying to explain the sport to me and what she was thinking while playing. For 5 months Desiree had experiences, travels and training with OC-Elite that has really changed her self-image and confidence in all areas. OC Elite has also offered exposure to college recruits across the country; Washington State University, Dartmouth, San Diego, University of Oregon, University of Denver, just to name a few. I have noticed that she has taken more of a leadership role on her high school team and other players look up to her; not only because she's 6'2", but because she demonstrates assurance and self-motivation. Because of her relationship with Jesus and her training with OC Elite, she is willing to learn more and accepts with humility correction from her coaches. OC-Elite has helped to develop my shy "little" girl into a mature, confident person.
Thanks OC Elite!!
